MEN'S MINISTRY

Men's Ministry

Fellowship, Discipleship, Prayer, and Community Presence

There is a larger than normal percentage of men at Grace Family Fellowship. The reason being the leadership team is focused on encouraging men to fulfill their role in the home and the Kingdom. Every week there are multiple opportunities for men to get together for fellowship and rubbing elbows. In scripture the phrase is “iron sharpening iron”. Sunday morning Bible study and Sunday morning worship are only the beginning of these opportunities for fellowship.

For the last 5 years men have been meeting at the 7/11 on FM1097 every Tuesday morning at 7am for fellowship, discipleship, prayer, and community presence. In these meetings we have witnessed the presence and the power of Holy Spirit movement in salvation, healing, and spontaneous worship that has touched these men and the community in an Acts chapter 2 experience. On the 2nd Saturday there is a men’s breakfast at the church at 7am.

These are a few of the opportunities that you have as a man to find and experience your relationship with Christ Jesus. To discover what it means to be “a new creation in Christ” and to impact this culture, making a difference for good in Jesus name.

  • Prayer

Prayer is essential in the life of a godly man. A man who leads well must first be a man who seeks God, depends upon God, and leads others by his example of prayer. At Grace Family Fellowship Men’s Ministry, we believe strong men, strong families, and strong churches are built by men on their knees before God.

  • Community Presence

The importance for Godly men having a presence in their community is second only to their presence in their home. As men, we have a responsibility to be leaders in our families, workplaces, and communities. We can be a positive influence and a source of hope and encouragement to those around us. As we grow in our Godly home presence, the growth in our Godly community presence becomes so natural and spontaneous.  We also believe that community presence is an opportunity for us to share our faith, and it is here that we connect with, and submit to the Holy Spirit in being salt and light and fulfilling the Great Commission.

One of the places this kind of ministry has been taking place for 10 years now, is the 7/11 store on FM1097, near the Dairy Queen. Men from GFF have been gathering every Tuesday morning at 7am for a little coffee and donuts and “a whole lot of Jesus”. During this time, we have seen folks get saved, folks get healed, and lives touched in every way you can imagine. We have had folks run in, drop a prayer request on the table, and run out. Only to learn as we read the note that they were on the way to the emergency room and were asking as to be praying for them.

    Community Presence

Luke 14:23 Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.ng every Tuesday morning at 7/11 on FM 1097 at 7am for fellowship, discipleship, prayer, and community presence.

Fellowship

Men's fellowship is an essential part of our church community at Grace Family Fellowship. We believe that when men come together to share their lives, their struggles, and their faith, it strengthens their relationships with each other and with God. We know that life can be tough, and it's important to have other men who can offer support and encouragement along the way.

Discipleship

We believe that discipleship is an essential component of growing in our faith and becoming more like Christ. As men, we face unique challenges in our lives and need the support and guidance of other men to help us navigate those challenges in a way that honors God.

Prayer

Prayer is a crucial part of our church community, and it's especially important for men to prioritize prayer in their lives. As men, we face unique challenges and responsibilities, and we need God's guidance and wisdom to navigate them. Prayer is a way for us to connect with God, seek His will, and ask for His help in our lives.

Community Presence

It's especially important for Godly men to have a presence in our community. As men, we have a responsibility to be leaders in our families, workplaces, and communities. We can be a positive influence and a source of hope and encouragement to those around us. We also believe that community presence is an opportunity for us to share our faith with others. When we're present in our community and living out our faith in practical ways, we create opportunities to share the hope and love of Jesus with those around us.
